Does The Inversion Method Really Work... #Hair Challenge Accepted!

Written by admin on February 7, 2014

I ran into this method recently and I must say I'm shocked that I haven't heard about it before since I'm going on two years natural next month. However the natural hair process is always a learning process so I am not embarrassed!! For those of you who haven't heard of it either the inversion method is used NO more than once a month and is ONLY done for seven days at a time. It is very important to state this from the beginning because the trick to getting it to work is to shock your body.

Does The Inversion Method Really Work for Natural Hair ?

so how does it work? What do you do? What exactly is it? It's pretty easy actually… the inversion method goes like this:
1. You oil your scalp lightly (your neck/face should not be dripping with oil) on a daily basis (if needed)
2. You then invert… or pretty much hang upside down for 4-7 minutes.
This is supposed to increase blood flow to the scalp which promotes rapid hair growth. Most have reported one inch in seven days. Doing it for more than 7 days can be harmful to your health and after the seven days your body is no longer being shocked therefore you won't achieve the same quick results if you continue all the way through.
3. Any oil should do the trick but I've heard that extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil is your best bet and will work best during the process.

I haven't done/tried the inversion method yet but I am interested to see if I have the same positive results that I've seen people report on the blogs and on Youtube. I currently have a protective style in but when I take it out in the upcoming days I plan on doing this 7 day inversion challenge and measuring the growth to see if it has lived up to all of the hype. I shall keep all you ladies up to date on how it goes!!

Has anyone tried this inversion method and did it work for you? If you haven't tried… give it a shot and let us know if it has worked for you as well!

PS: You should not try the inversion method if you have any of the following conditions:
a heart condition, hernia, low or high blood pressure, recent stroke, heart or circulatory problems, glaucoma, conjunctivitis (“pink eye”), detached retina, spinal injury, swollen joints, osteoporosis, unhealed fractures or injuries, ear infection, obesity, or are otherwise unhealthy!! Keep that in mind ladies healthiness before hair growth!
