Kolour Conscious February Subscription Box Review

My February Kolour Conscious Box has arrived and I'm bringing the review on the last day of the month (life gets hectic) but I also was busy enjoying it throughout the month as well. It's a special kind of joy especially during Black History Month to be using products that are not only supporting small business but also supporting Black Owned Business.

Overview: Kolour Conscious is a subscription box that curates beauty, skin care, and accessories from brands that are black owned. I like that every month for the most part it is a batch of new brands that I have never heard of before and get a chance to spread awareness and learn about them myself. The box usually comes with 4-6 sample products (usually deluxe samples) and costs 35.00 for a one month subscription, 25.00 for a 12 month subscription and 30.00 a month for a three month subscription. Overall Thoughts: I'm usually pretty impressed and excited about the contents of my Kolour Conscious box and although this month did deliver a little something for every aspect of your every day life I don't feel that it reached the threshold of the cost of the box. I am very interested in using the lotion bar, since I've never used one before and I'm trying to transition completely into natural, cruelty free or vegan products in my daily life. I've been a fan of Snappee's for quite some time so I was excited to see that they were apart of the February box as well. The Sesi magazine was a nice interesting touch, not something I think I've seen in subscription boxes often (and trust I'm a huge subscription box junkie. Like I said with the varying types of products it made it interesting to unbox, but I wasn't too impressed or excited with the overall contents. I know Kolour Conscious must have something great coming up down the line, but thought the February Black History month box would have been out of this world. I rate his box a solid 3/5 in hopes that next month will be better, and because I know the boxes have been so much better in previous months.
