Cleansers : Moisturizing Black Shampoo vs. Caribbean Coconut Milk vs. CoWash Me Conditioner

Moisturizing Black Soap Shampoo: This cleanser is for the women who experience heavy product buildup or are experiencing scalp issues. The Black soap shampoo contains Tea Tree oil and Black Soap which have cleansing and healing properties to give you a nice squeaky clean feeling while soothing scalp issues and moisturizing.

Featured Ingredients:

• Cocoa Seed Powder: Promotes stronger hair, hydrates and reduces moisture loss.
• Plantain: Contains enzymes that reduce split ends and revive dull hair to avoid hair breakage.

Caribbean Coconut Milk: My absolute favorite cleanser/ shampoo on the market. This cleanser is so so so gentle I can't actually believe it is a shampoo. It has a very light almost non existent lather. It is best for women who are trying to transition into the curly girl method but aren't fully ready to give up shampooing (i.e.: ME). This is also for women who prefer milder cleanses without feeling squeaky clean but still getting down to the nitty gritty of a good cleansing wash day.

• Coconut Milk: Slows hair loss, prevents hair breakage and split ends

CoWash Me Cleansing Conditioner: The CoWash me cleansing conditioner is for women who follow the curly girl method. This cleanser is gentle on the scalp and includes Jojoba oil which is similar to the natural oils on our hair/scalp.The cleanser is sulfate free and moisturizing while offering a 2 in 1 (cleanse and condition) option for women who are on the go and need their wash day to speed up a bit. This product is also best for women who enjoy doing wash and gos.

• Tea Tree Oil: Contains antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory properties that breaks down undesirable buildup and residue at the scalp and roots.

Being too heavy handed with this product will leave you with some oily residue. The Shea Yogurt moisturizer is also great for twist outs and styles done on hair that is in between wash days. A spritz of some water or leave in conditioner, add in the shea yogurt and you're good to go.

Moisture Rich Hair Parfait: I love the Alikay Naturals Hair Parfait moisturizer and I honestly believe this may be one of the key products that has played a hand in helping me fall back in love with my hair, and taking care of my excessive dry hair issues. This hair parfait smells amazing also FYI! This product is best used on wet/damp hair for women with fine/thin hair suffering from dryness. It is also recommended to be used for women with curly/wavy/coily hair. Your twist outs will never be the same.

Dulce Hydrating Curl Lotion: This styler is for the lazy natural! And I say that with love because I am definitely a lazy natural and this product is one of my faves. The Dulce Hydrating Curl lotion is light weight and offers more of a wavy light effect when used as your styler. This is great for women like me who throw 4-6 large twists in their hair and pray for a bomb voluminous twist out the next day. This is for the ladies that aren't necessarily going for definition but more so volume and moisture.

Deep conditioners: Honey & Sage Deep Conditioner vs. Avocado Cream Repairing Mask

Honey & Sage Deep Conditioner: The Honey & Sage Deep Conditioner has been BAE for a while since I've been battling issues with dry hair and dry scalp for almost 2 years now (ugh... the bane of my natural hair existence I tell you). This hair treatment includes moisture nutrient rich ingredients that help with battling our thirsty tresses. As a humectant it sucks in all of the moisture in the air around you, so be sure you're using this product in the right environment!

Featured Ingredients:

• Honey: A super humectant that attracts and binds moisture from the air into your hair. Also contains anti-bacterial properties.
• Babassu Oil: Nutrient rich oil that penetrates hair to nourish cuticles, protects hair, diminishes dryness, moisturizes, promotes sheen, relieves itchy scalp and dandruff to promote healthier hair.
• Sage: Contains stimulating properties that increases scalp circulation, promotes skin renewal process of the scalp.

Avocado Cream Moisture Repairing Mask : The Avocado Cream Moisture Repairing Mask is also helpful in adding and retaining moisture to your hair however this mask helps to relieve scalp issues that may cause dandruff. The presence of peppermint oil is a nice added soothing touch to help with scalp irritation as well. I'm a fanatic of avocado in hair products so the presence of avocado oil and avocado butter is also a plus to my search for infinite moisture sources.

• Burdock Root: Reduces hair loss and relieves scalp irritation. It is rich in fatty acids that improves blood circulation to hair follicles and roots.
