We know everyone has been dying to get a recap on the amazing night we had last week for our first event "End Of Summer Bash". And though we hate to see the summer go we definitely had an awesome time! The evening started out with an awesome discussion on protective styling with a specific focus on Crochet Braids by the lovely Erna of Crochet Hair NYC. A raffle giveaway was then selected and a lucky winner actually won a free set of crochet braids to be done during the remainder of the event. Check out some snap shots of that directly below:
With some time in the middle to mix and mingle it was then time to transition into the business beauty portion of the night which consisted of Marsha Page of Marsha's Makeovers showing us busy business women how to transition a day look into a night look when we don't have the time to run home and get glam for our night out on the town!
After our loads of giveaways and raffles were given out it was time for my absolute favorite part the panelists: Monet (curlsandmo.com) , Scarlett (wondercurl.com) Ijeoma (KlassyKinks.com) Sabrina (NaturalPartnersInCrime.com), Seanna Kaye (NaturalHairDoesCare.com). These women just had so much to offer and share about building an honest brand in the natural hair community. The 100 percent real talk kept the ladies in attendance interested and highly entertained. It was a great discussion that was not only thorough but extremely inspiriting/enlightening.
