I was sent this Outre wig in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I always love me a good big curly wig and that is exactly what I got with this dope unit. This wig comes from the Outre Big Beautiful Hair line. This line comes in three textures: 3C Whirly, 4A Kinky, and 4C Coily. My initial review is on the 4A Kinky texture.
WIG CONSTRUCTION: The wig is a lacefront but Outre does offer a half wig version of the textures as well. This unit comes in the variety of colors that most wigs do. I got mine in a S1B/30. The wig construction is airy and made of mesh. So it isn't heavy or too hot of a unit to wear on a spring/cool summer day. Don't get it twisted though this wig will have you sweating profusely in 90 degree weather, as most wigs will.
When I initially received the wig it was extremely tightly coiled and bouncy. You can certainly wear the unit out of the box, however that is not the look I was going for. I fluffed out the hair with my hands mostly, but used a wide tooth comb to lift at the roots. This for the most part kept the coils unaltered but gave me some lift and movement. There is not a prevalent part in the hair but it is so big/fluffy that it hides your hair line and gives you a natural look. I moved the hair towards the front to create a bang. I also love the length of this hair because it continues to give the natural look that helps perpetuate my illusion!
