We just wrapped our third event, and first event as a Mielle Organics Brand Ambassador. As our first event as a brand ambassador we wanted to throw an event that culminated everything that Mielle Organics stood for. With CEO Monique Rodriguez at the helm making phenomenal steps in the hair care industry, we knew it was only right to celebrate her success and the success of other female entrepreneurs.

TNT Formation: A Female Entrepreneur Celebration

The Formation was held at Croton Reservoir Tavern in Midtown Manhattan, which served a sexy intimate setting for women to come and shop amazing vendors, take part in an eye opening break out session, and witness a beautiful powerful panel share their insight into being a woman in a male dominated business world. Panel members Monica Stevens of Mo Knows Hair, Shalleen Kaye of Natural Hair Does Care, Tanya Wright of Orange Is The New Black, and Phylencia Taylor of Evolving Beauty didn't give the staple "how to start a business" speech. Instead they opened their selves up to the audience and shared personally what being a female entrepreneur meant to them. They discussed overcoming adversity and were truly a highlight and inspiration in the room.

The audience also was treated to a live hair demo from the Curl King Vincenzo, as he did a trim on a natural hair beauty that he met just 5 minutes prior to the event! Why you might ask? Because he wanted to challenge himself and show that he could work with any work of art placed in front of him. The audience asked questions while Vincenzo simultaneously gave the natural hair beauty a brand new shape simply within twenty minutes.

What was really inspiring as a whole was just how much everyone trusted and opened up to each other through out the evening's activities. It was an overall good time that left people motivated to truly get in Formation. Everything about this event screamed support for women. From the sponsors to the vendors it was a beautiful sight.
