This post I hold near and dear to my heart. In fact, I was super excited to write it from start to finish (even though the research process). Why? Because after paying over 100,000 dollars in student loans for two degrees I only borrowed about 60,000 dollars to obtain, I'm very weary of blindly promoting higher education as the only way to make large sums of money.
Statistically people without a degree earn 37,000 dollars in comparison to people with a Bachelor's degree who earn on average 72,000. Enter these 12 high paying jobs no degree required and we have a nice conversation brewing. You see, that stat may in fact be real, but as the tides turn especially in 2020 things just aren't the same. With a rise in technology, and remote work, more and more opportunities are being presented for high paying jobs without a degree.

These 12 high paying jobs vary in their requirements. While a few (about 2) require an Associate's degree, the majority only require you to have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). On top of that, they can also require work experience, or certifications. The job that surprised me the most is the air traffic controller salary and with good reason. Comment below which job surprised you most!
